OUR ASSISTANT RABBI

Rabbi Shalom grew up in Cherry Hill and attended  Congregation Sons of Israel as a child. After graduating Moshe Aaron Yeshiva High School near Edison, NJ, he studied in Yeshivat Kerem B'Yavneh in Eretz Yisroel. He then studied in the Ner Israel Rabbinical College in Baltimore, MD, for 10 years. During that time, he learned in the Yeshiva's Kollel Avodas Levi and earned his Semicha. Subsequently, Rabbi Shalom returned to Cherry Hill to attend graduate school at Widener University. He holds a doctorate in clinical psychology, is certified as a Pennsylvania state school psychologist, and is completing his residency in clinical neuropsychology. Rabbi Shalom lives in Cherry Hill with his wife, Miriam, and their children. He appreciates the warmth of the Cherry Hill community and enjoys the opportunity to share Torah with youth and adults alike.
