Meet our Board
The Board is comprised of the President, an Executive Committee, and Trustees elected on a three year rotation. Past presidents continue to serve on the board for 10 years following the conclusion of their presidency. The Board of Directors meet once a month to discuss and take action on various synagogue issues.

Meet Our Presidents
Chani Weisman
Chani Wiesman moved to Cherry Hill, NJ in 2018 with her husband Yoni Berliant and their 2 kids. Chani has served on the Sons of Israel Board since 2019, and is a recent graduate of the Federation Leadership Institute. Chani is a genetic counselor and works for a clinical laboratory located in Salt Lake City, UT.
Rabbi Heshy Chaitoff
Rabbi Heshy Chaitoff has been associated with Congregation Sons of Israel and the general Cherry Hill community since 2006. Together, with his wife, Aliza, and their three children, they moved to Cherry Hill in 2018 and have been members of SOI since then. Heshy has served on the general board and executive committee of the synagogue. Heshy is a manager of residences for adults with special needs in New York while pursuing a masters in Marriage and Family Therapy.
